An Unusual Wedding: The Universe Clearly Chose Violence.
If you've read An Unusual Therapy and An Unusual Therapy 2, you'll probably agree that Max and David have already earned their happily ever after.
After years of misunderstandings, questionable decisions, heartbreak, reconciliations, long-distance struggles, exes, insecurities, and enough emotional baggage to fill several moving trucks, they finally found their way back to each other.
So naturally, the next step should be simple. Life, however, is a bitch.
When I started writing An Unusual Wedding, I wasn't interested in putting Max and David's relationship through yet another round of unnecessary drama. They've already fought their battles, faced their fears, and proven—more than once—that what they have is worth fighting for.
This time, I wanted to explore something different.
What happens when love isn't the problem? What happens when you've finally found your person, but life decides to throw everything else at you at the exact same time? Without giving too much away, let's just say that life becomes significantly more complicated when old flames make unexpected appearances, family drama reaches telenovela levels of intensity, and long-buried secrets decide that now would be a fantastic time to come out and play. And because this is still the world of Max, David, and their disfunctional and chaotic group of friends, there are plenty of twists, emotional moments, laugh-out-loud disasters, questionable decisions, and enough chemistry to keep things interesting.
An Unusual Wedding is a story about love, friendship, family, identity, and the unexpected ways life forces us to grow. It's about discovering that sometimes the biggest challenges don't come from losing the people we love, but from learning how to navigate the versions of ourselves we're still trying to understand.
It's also about trying to plan a wedding while the universe seems personally offended by the idea of you having a stress-free week.
So yes, there will be romance, there will be laughter, sensuality, and moments that will make you want to hug certain characters and slap others. And don’t worry, there will be a wedding but whether it goes according to plan is another matter entirely.
The cover reveal for An Unusual Wedding is coming on June 21, 2026, and I can't wait to finally share this last chapter with you.
During the summer solstice the sun hits different and so does this book.
